Los Angeles Fires

I've been keeping my eye on the fires all day. 

I keep refreshing the map and making sure it doesn't grow.

But this evening the mandatory evacuations moved east,

taking in Crestwood Hills and Tumbleweed Day Camp and it was just too much.

Not too much later, the evacuations moved further south and east to Roscomare, 

the street below our home Somera, and just north of our home in Santa Monica. 

I've been texting Leslie Stokes who was evacuated several days ago,

but now firetrucks are positioned outside their home. 

I just can't take it in. It's so, so heartbreaking.
