Everything is magical in Hawaii!
Warm sun, gorgeous views, whales showing off everywhere!
Our condo has a panorama view of the ocean with a deck big enough for two large seating areas and a dining room table. We're in heaven!
Every conversation is put on hold with, "Oh! There! A whale just jumped!"
Dan and I walked to the end of the beach path at the Ritz, up Office Avenue
and a mile into the old golf course.
We got a little lost as we walked down the highway looking for a place to cut back in down to the ocean to get back to the Montage. A few gated communities and dead ends brought us to an older residential neighborhood. At that point we turned around to retrace our steps.
But it was sunny and warm and beautiful and we were in Hawaii!
No better place to get a little lost.
Finally, when Google maps told us to turn through this gated community but it was... gated... with no walkers entrance, Dan noticed there was enough space to go under the gate.
"If I do it will you follow me?!" "Yep!"
He laid flat on his back and scooted under. I followed after.
We had a nice home church with everyone and spent the rest of the day sitting on our beautiful patio, eating and watching the Superbowl.
We loved the singing acts opening and halftime.
And REALLY loved the signer (right hand corner) who was totally into performing the song as well!
Plantation Grill for dinner but had to break into two tables for
Covid restrictions. But that wasn't such a bad thing!
Such beautiful, beautiful sunset!!
We got home by 8:00 and everyone went straight to bed.
The time change had us all up by 5:00 a.m. Our New Yorkers are especially off-schedule!
But its so amazing to be here!
