Dan and I walked the loop this morning with Kershaw

Like having a toddler!)
When we arrived back to the bunk house, Lizzie and Marty had made breakfast.
What a treat!
This is the first time we've had breakfast made for us in camp in over 20 years.
Literally.
We took the Ranger out to explore the property, down by the river and visited the
old sheep herder's cabin.

Then went to meet Courtney, Michael and their friends who were staying at
original camp. They needed some help restocking the woodpile
and learning how to use the splitter.
Marty learned how to use the chainsaw.
Chris and Nick are pros on the splitter.
Nick's in Papa's old spot!
We'd talked about hiking to the box today, but we were feeling lazy in the afternoon,
so took naps instead.
Hot dogs, salad and zucchini casserole for dinner.
Then s'mores around our new firepit.
It's pretty, but a little deep to feel the warmth!
We're going to have to fill it up with rocks so the fire sits higher.
On the plus side, we didn't smell quite as smoky as usual.
No moon, so the stars were amazing tonight!
Jupiter was especially bright.
Ended the night with 31 and streamed the BYU/Arizona football game.
Glad they got the win since we stayed up until midnight to finish it.
Also didn't remember you only count the cards in the same suit in 31.
Thankfully Marty and Chris can remember game rules so well.
No wonder the rounds went so fast when we played with Nick's friends earlier this summer!
