Making Katie Hardman's pasta sauce for dinner tonight with all the garden tomatoes.
Last year I took a short cut and didn't boil down and blended in the Blendtec.
Was still good, but not quite the texture and flavor of Katie's I'd made the previous year.
So took the longer process this year. Smells so good!
Using the immersion blender instead of the Blendtec left seeds and more texture which I love.
Homemade sauce over zucchini noodles with garden cucumbers on the side.
So delicious. A full tray of roasted halved tomatoes
made enough sauce for dinner and three more pint jars to freeze.
P.S. Short ten mile bike ride today and felt really good!
