Parties and Missing Out

Its good to be home. 
Our bedroom at The Belnord starts to feel a little small after ten days.
But, we do love our apartment in the city.

As soon as we arrived, I went back out to buy 12 cartons of strawberries for the ward Christmas party. 
One of the best parts of the Christmas season is socializing with friends--

especially when you only see some of them once a year.

Having a festive December is what makes this month so merry.

I missed our neighborhood ladies Christmas brunch and 

the Relief Society party, both were last Tuesday.

and I'm just now realizing I'm disappointed I couldn't be there.

But if I'm sad I've missed out on something special,

I take happy consolation that I have a life full with 

people I care about and fun things to enjoy rather than wallowing

in disappointment.
