Early morning trip and hike into Pololu Valley and over to Honokane Nui overlook.
First stop in Hawi for breakfast. Local, artsy and so good.
The hike down to Pololu was a short half-mile.
Adding on the trip up to Honokane Nui was another two miles and fun to get an extra workout
to a beautiful overlook.

Beautiful green valley rolling all the way to the ocean with rope swings, shade and a black sand beach.
The hike up to Honokane was through beautiful, wet jungle.
I might need this sign after everyone comes next week! 😂
The emerald green water was "stop and look!" worthy.
The camera doesn't do it justice.
We were back to the resort by Noon to sit by the pool and read.
Amazing how much you can do when you wake up by 5:00 a.m!
