Listening to a podcast yesterday, I was reminded of an experience I had
quite a few years ago when my kids were young.
I was contemplating the Savior's atonement during sacrament meeting,
and, as I had been taught, reflecting on my actions over the past week
and what I needed to ask forgiveness for
and what I could change to be more in line with the Savior.
I imagine these were specifics, but along the lines of:
Be more patient with my children.
Use a kinder voice with my husband.
Don't be quick to judge a stranger.
Being better at serving my neighbor.
And then I had a powerful impression:
The sacrament is also a time to reflect on what good you did this week.
I do a lot of good, and remembering how I've been Christlike is equally
as important as pondering how I'd like to improve.
Remember.
