Courtney & Michael went home Wednesday and while they're making plans for their sealing weekend in September, we remembered to start booking shows for our trip to NYC over Thanksgiving.
I had Write or Die on Thursday and it felt good to chat about writing, give feedback, hear encouragement, talk about submission opportunities, think about next semester's classes and work on some of my short stories.
Nourished my soul listening to inspirational podcasts while out on a morning walk. A welcomed quiet hour. Stretching with yoga twice this week also brought balance to body and mind.
Chris has been in and out with friends. Marty finished his internship yesterday. Lizzie worked to prepare her classroom all week. Nick's last day at the Olympic Park was today.
Dan and I drove to Midvale this evening to find the World's Best Corndog food truck. Got a foot long, ate it all, and now my summer bucket list is complete.
