I woke up at 6:45 -- too early when you're sick -- so I surfed my phone for a while. Finally, I got up, opened the curtains, made the bed (Dan slept in Courtney's room), stretched for a while, put on warm socks and a sweatshirt over my pajamas, knelt by my bed and said my prayers, and then the bed looked so cozy, I crawled back in and slept until 10:00.

I woke up to my phone ringing AND the Christmas lights guys hanging the wreaths right out my window.
(Yesterday I told them I was sick, so I didn't feel so guilty laying in bed at 10:00 a.m.)
