Nick played short stop and pitched and got on base twice.
Dad, Marty and I were all there to watch.
The weather was cool but not cold. Perfect night for baseball.
These first games are always fun getting to know new families and parents.
The ump was hysterical, having fun with the players and the coaches,
really calling those strikes loudly and everyone had a good time.
We lost by 5. But it was a great game.
And I even pulled off chicken enchiladas in the casserole crock-pot ready to eat when we got home.
(Let's see how long I can keep it up!)
