I tried to convince him that the zoo was for all ages and finally talked him into it, telling him we could go straight to the polar bear and then straight home.
That polar bear didn't disappoint! He came right up to Nick at the glass! After Nick decided that it would be okay to go see the bears, and the giraffes. And I guess we'll see the Tigers too.
Then we stopped at the bird show that was just about to begin. Also super entertaining!
We stopped at the elephants on the way out. And then he decided that maybe he would like to ride the train after all. (When he was 1 and 2 years old, Maria Luz came to babysit a couple times a week. She took him for a train ride at the zoo almost weekly. Nick loved it.)
Nick remembered the train ride being very long and was quite surprised that it only lasted a few minutes!!
