I know it's been a month, but thought I'd post some more pictures of Cancun.
RUINS
Our LDS guide believed there were 2060 of these pillars here in Chichinitza -- to comemorate 2060 great warriors, or Helaman's 2060 Stripling Warriors.
The white man in middle represents the white God, or Christ, who visited the people of Central America.
Above many of the ruins were these three openings -- the first represents God, the second is an upside-down God, or a God who was born on Earth - -Christ, and the last is empty symbolizing The Holy Ghost.
Life moves pretty fast. If you don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

More Cancun Photos
A common site at the ruins -- glad I didn't have these running in my house in California--the little lizards were horrifying enough to try to trap. Thank goodness Bekah was brave!
Quote of the day as the kids scampered up and down steep, steep stairs, "Be careful! This is not a place for... uh... for not being careful!

April Fool's!
It's super funny to get to be the Jr. High carpool driver on April Fool's. And to wear a giant wig. It was even funnier to jump out of the car and shout, "Yoo Hoo!! Courtney, I'm here!! Over here, Courtney! It's your Mom!! Your ride is here!!" Courtney said it wasn't funny at all--that it was mean. But it was REALLY funny! Oh yes. Really, Really funny!
